About Seamless Translate
Seamless Translate helps you communicate across languages without translating every message manually.
It works in both private and group chats.
When Seamless Translate is turned on:
- Incoming text messages are translated automatically
- Translations appear below the original messages
- Voice messages can be transcribed and translated
- Translated voice messages can be played while keeping the speaker’s voice
- Messages already in your selected language are not translated
- A loading icon appears while a translation is being generated
- Three or more unread messages require confirmation before translation
What does Seamless Translate support?
Seamless Translate currently supports:
- Incoming text messages
- Voice message transcription and translation
- Translated voice playback that keeps the speaker’s voice
- Private chats
- Group chats
It does not currently translate:
- Messages you send
- Quoted message content
- Text in images
- Files
- System messages
Is Seamless Translate free?
For a limited time, Seamless Translate is free and does not use Credits.
In the future, translations will use Credits. You will be able to get more Credits through a subscription or a separate purchase.
Credit usage details will be shown before this change takes effect.
