Can't receive call notifications

If you’re not receiving call alerts, try the steps below.

Check your internet connection

Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Voice and video calls require a stable connection.

Check app notification permissions

On your device:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap Apps.
  3. Select ChatRaha.
  4. Tap Notifications.
  5. Make sure notifications are enabled.

Also check:

  • Lock screen notifications are allowed.
  • Background app refresh is enabled (iOS).
  • Background data is enabled (Android).
  • Battery saver mode is not restricting ChatRaha.

Disable "Do Not Disturb" mode

If your device is in Do Not Disturb mode, call alerts may be silenced.

Turn off Do Not Disturb in your device settings.

Check in-app call notification settings

Go to:

Settings > Notifications

Make sure:

  • Call notifications are enabled.
  • Ringtone is not set to silent.

Update ChatRaha

Make sure you're using the latest version of the app.

If you still cannot receive call notifications:

  • Restart your device.
  • Reinstall ChatRaha (⚠️ Local data may be removed if no backup is available).
