How to mute or unmute individual or group chat notifications
Muting a chat allows you to stop receiving notifications without leaving the conversation.
To mute a chat:
- Open the chat.
- Tap the chat name at the top.
- Turn on Mute Notifications.
You will still receive messages, but your device will not notify you.
You can also identify muted chats by a mute icon next to the chat name.
